Surf's UP!

John Smith co-owner of Point Surf Baja, Internet cafe and surf shop in San Juanico, got out in the water on his day off. Not too bad for a Grandpa?!!

Monday is our day off, so we spent the day exploring San Juanico and of course surfing. We had dinner at Socorro's Taco Diamar Restaurant Mmmmm MMMM Good. The best fish tacos and 'carne' tacos in San Juanico.

The RACES!

1st RACE

2nd Race

A little bit of excitement before the race, the rider & horse were not hurt, thank heavens.
A bit of trouble getting the bucking horse in the gate.
AND, THEY'RE OFF!

The Horses are here.



The horses arrived from La Purisima on Fri. Jun 27. The vaqueros (cowboys) road them over from La Purisima, approx. 35 miles due east of San Juanico.

Singers and Dancers for San Juanico Days

We were entertained by the singers. Authentic Banda music, it was great!







All of the dancers were amazing. The 'break-dancer' blew everyone away! We went home after the entertainment.....but found out that the party went on until the wee hours of the morning.
